Fluffy Dog Sculpture

This pure handmade pinch-sculpted stoneware bust of a puppy uses highly expressive expressionist art techniques to vividly recreate the charming, joyful, and utterly delighted demeanor of a long-haired dog laughing and feeling like it's flying. The artisan has maximized the energy of the clay, abandoning all smoothness and regularity. Using caramel oatmeal-colored coarse pottery clay rich in iron minerals, they frantically patted, kneaded, and hand-tore irregular clay pieces, layering them to build up that signature fluffy long fur, which explodes outwards like popcorn. Amidst this vibrant "messy hair" of clay, the puppy's mouth is slightly open, revealing a moist, pink, high-gloss glazed little tongue, and a pair of round, black eyes sparkle with innocence and joy. It sits there happily, as if it can instantly melt away all anxiety and fatigue.
